Atabet Parrott is a practicing artist exploring the synthesis of spirituality, software art, and installation. Born in Boston, Massachuesetts, Parrott studied computer science at Virginia Tech before beginning a career in the arts. He has completed research projects in child psychology, crystalography, and virtual reality, and has worked under grants from Apple and the Carnegie Institute. Additionally, he has worked on feature films at Pixar Animation Studios. While completing his MFA at Savannah College of Art and Design, he became interested in the prophetic movement of the south east, creating works embodying the fantastic within everyday life.
