Erik Reinhard is one of the pioneers of HDR technology. His latest research involves using Shake to automatically remap color spaces based on source footage. This allows multiple exposure levels to be beautifully combined. Also, color may be matched automatically to replicated the color spaces contained within paitnings.
In a recent collaboration with SCAD graduate student Dustin Ryland, Mr. Reinhard offered to collaborate on artistic explorations of his techniques. He has also generously shared his c++ code. As principle programmer for the project, I will work on integrating his code into the project's workflow.
